【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthevolatilematterproducedbypyrolysisorevolvedwhenpetroleumcokeissubjectedtothespecificconditionsofthetestmethod.Theinterlaboratorystudyforprecisioncoveredmaterialswithavolatilematterconcentrationrangingfromabout8to16%.Sampleshavingathermalhistoryabove600?Careexcluded.Thistestmethodisempiricalandrequirestheentiretestproceduretobecloselyfollowedtoensurethatresultsfromdifferentlaboratorieswillbecomparable.Thistestmethodisnotsatisfactoryfordeterminingdedustingmaterialcontent.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
