【摘要】:ThispracticeprovidesminimumrequirementsfortheapplicationofClassPBEIFS.Therequirementsformaterials,mixtures,anddetailsshallbecontainedintheprojectplansandspecifications.SeeGuideE1825forguidance.1.1ThispracticecoverstheminimumrequirementsandproceduresforfieldorprefabricatedapplicationofClassPBExteriorInsulationandFinishSystems(EIFS).ClassPBEIFSaresystemsappliedoverinsulationboard,inwhichthebasecoatrangesfromnotlessthan1/16in.(1.6mm)to1/4in.(6.4mm)indrythickness,dependinguponthenumberofnonmetallicreinforcingmeshlayersencapsulatedinthebasecoat.Thebasecoatisthencoveredwithafinishcoatofvariousthicknessinavarietyoftexturesandcolors.1.2ThispracticedoesnotcoverClassPBEIFSwithdrainage.ConsulttheEIFSproducerforinformation.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Themetricvaluesgiveninparenthesesareapproximateandareprovidedforinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thetextofthispracticereferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasarequirementofthestandard.1.5Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
