【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesamethodfordeterminingthepackeddensityofabedofgranularactivatedcarbon.Determinationofthepackeddensityisessentialwhendesigningvesselstoholdthematerialandfororderingpurposeswhenprocuringmaterialstofillexistingvessels.FIG.1AssemblyofApparatus1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheapparentdensityofgranularactivatedcarbon.Forpurposesofthistestmethod,granularactivatedcarbonisdefinedasaminimumof90%beinglargerthan80mesh.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
