【摘要】:Thepurposeofthesetestmethodsistoprovidemeasurablecriteriaforvarioushazards.Theprotectionthatcanbedemonstratedbyevaluationoffootwearincludesthefollowing:4.2.1Theeffectivenessofimpactresistantfootweartoeliminateordiminishtheseverityofinjurytothetoeareaofthefootwhensubjectedtoafallingobject.4.2.2Theeffectivenessofcompressionresistantfootweartoeliminateordiminishtheseverityofinjurytothetoeareaofthefootwhensubjectedtoacompressiveforce.4.2.3Theeffectivenessofmetatarsalprotectivefootweartoeliminateordiminishtheseverityofinjurytothemetatarsalareaadjacenttowherethetoesandthebonesoftheupperfootintersect.4.2.4Theeffectivenessofconductivefootweartosafelyreducethebuildupofstaticelectricityfromwearertogroundsoastoreducethepossibilityofignitionofexplosivesandvolatilechemicals.4.2.5Theeffectivenessofelectricshockresistantfootweartoprovideresistancetoelectricshockwhenaccidentalcontactismadewithlivewires.4.2.6TheeffectivenessofstaticdissipativefootweartoreducethehazardsduetoexcessivelylowfootwearelectricalresistancethatmayexistwhereSDfootwearisrequired.4.2.7Theeffectivenessofpunctureresistantfootweartoreducethepossibilityofpunctureinjurytothebottomofthehumanfoot.4.2.8Theeffectivenessofchainsawcutresistantfootweartoreducethechanceofinjurywhenexposedtoarunningpowerchainsaw.4.2.9Theeffectivenessofdielectricinsulativefootweartoreducethepossibilityofinjurywhenexposedtoahighvoltagecharge.1.1Thesetestmethodsmeasuretheresistanceoffootweartoavarietyofhazardsthatcanpotentiallyresultininjury.1.2Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedtotestforcompliancetominimumperformancerequirementsinestablishedsafetystandards.1.2.1Byagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier,orasrequiredbyestablishedsafetystandards,thesetestmethodscanbeusedtodetermineanyone,orallofthefollowing:(1)impactresistance,(2)compressionresistance,(3)metatarsalimpactresistance,(4)resistancetoelectricalconductivity,(5)resistancetoelectricshock,(6)staticdissipativeperformance,(7)punctureresistanceofoutsoles,(8)chainsawcutresistance,and(9)dielectricinsulation.1.3si-value;Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
